J and L flooring services have provided an excellent service once again.
The oak flooring they laid in our last house was a major selling point. After 5 years hard ware and tear it still looked like new on the day we moved out in December 2014.

We moved in to our new home and booked John straight away. His passion for wood and his appreciation of quality ensured we now have beautiful oak flooring throughout the ground floor of our home.
It makes the whole house flow, and as  John said 'it is very the house'.
Johns attention to detail ensures the work is done to a very high standard. We are grateful for his advice and we always recommend him to friends and family.

Comments : I can not, honestly, rate these guys highly enough. John and his team were efficient, professional, economical, reliable, extremely quick and exceptionally proficient. They swept into my house on Tuesday, took complete control, and by Thursday afternoon the job was done. Let me put this into perspective, I have three reception rooms and a large hallway. Since their departure I have been over the floor with a fine tooth comb and could not find a single fault. From the first conversation I had with John, he struck me as an organised, straight-forward and reliable gentleman and I was not disappointed. I hasten to add that these guys were a pleasure to have around, I barely noticed their presence. For such a professional finish I was amazed by the remarkably reasonable price they charged.

John re-floored our entire house in solid bamboo wood flooring, taking only 10 days. This was a huge job on three floors and including three flights of stairs, and unfortunately for him the house was fully furnished and fully occupied while he did it! Somehow he managed to work around us and get the job done in less time than we had allowed. The house is transformed, looks modern and new and all for a very reasonable price. We had a tricky job of wanting to patch in a couple of square meters of
reclaimed parquet flooring to tie in with an existing  floor running
through our Hallway.

After been let down by other tradesmen I stumbled across Johns website
and only wish I had done much sooner - as others have commented I found
his customer service to be excellent:
1)He was prompt when he came to look at the job
2)He listened to what I wanted as the customer (not telling me what I
should do)
3)He suggested some excellent solutions to potential problems in
patching in my reclaimed blocks and provided some very useful advice
around the project.
4)The quote was with me in a matter of hours and at a reasonable cost.

We were delighted with how the job was completed and how it looks.

My next project is the staircase which I have already discussed with
John to undertake in the next couple of months.

John has already joined my exclusive list of trusted local tradespeople
- alongside my plumber,electrician and plasterer & gardener as I
continue our home renovation project
