We lift your old carpet and gripper rods or flooring, move any large objects in the room,

customer to remove trade waste

Priced per M2 + £450 per level

 

We lift your old flooring or carpet and gripper rods, we move all objects in the room, unpluging all tv,sky, hifi, ect. bag all rubbish and remove all rubbish and old carpet or flooring. then replace all objects back into the room and plug back in all tv, ect.

Trade Waste Removal

 

An 8 yard skip is £350

 

In most cases we would cut your old carpet into strips, roll it up and place ouside for the customer to dispose off, as in our Silver Service.

house hold waste is free to take to the local tip. 

(To a contractor it is Trade waste)

 

 

EXTRAS

your quotation is not final as it is given on what the fitters can see on the day of your measuring up and visit to your home

carpets or old floated flooring uplifted at £35 per room

doors removed and trimmed at £25.00 each,

Skirting removed and refitted. or new skirting fitted 

at £8.50 per meter

Skirting removed and refitted will require and repairs once removed, or flooring removed from under it.

if you have new skirting, it is best to have this delivered prior to fitting so it can be painted.

this saves you painting when fitted and getting paint on your new floor.

please note that it may need you to touch up on the corners and nail/screw holes once fitted.

 

If you find a better fitting price we should be able to match or beat it.

PAYMENTS and DEPOSITS

I hope our prices are of some benefit to you and invite you to keep our office number to hand, and hope to hear from you very soon.

 

Terms and Conditions

 

J & L services may ask for a minimum of 20% deposit of the total quotation price in advance if over £250, or has had dates booked with customer that may take few days to complete. This is to safe guard against customer cancellations.

in some cases, the work may take a few weeks to complete depending on size, therefore i may ask for the balance to be split into weekly payments.

All floor fitting has a 6 month fitting warranty, once full payment has been completed.

 

Deposits 

All deposits are non refundable should the customer choose to cancel fitting. moving fitting date is allowed as long as we have at leaste three weeks notice to fill said dates without loosing work.

 

The balance is to be paid on completion after inspection by the customer.

 

Guarantees

It covers the following areas.

 

• Fitted beading which becomes loose 
• Flooring that becomes unattached under normal use
• Skirting which become loose
• Stair nosing which become loose
• Trims which become loose ,oak or metal

 

Engineered wood and Solid wood floor fitting come with a 6-month guarantee. 

3 months with laminate type flooring. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Note:

The above dose not cover and damage found to your flooring area if not pointed out to your fitter prior to the work being completed, you would have been asked to look over the work on the last day of installation. 

 

Please note, our fitters take great care during the installation of your floor, and are advised to take photos of the area fitted at the end of each day, this is because of building and construction works and other trades crossing the newly fitted areas. (Which will not be covered by our fitting Guarantee). See note above.

 

Your floor will also experience gaps between  the planks due to expansion and natural shrinkage during the life time of wear and tear, this is a natural and common element for all types of flooring.

Installation Notice

 

"All timber products must be acclimatised  in the place of fitting and be layed by a professional flooring fitter."

 

"All timber products are natural and contain various features:
Shimmers, shakes, and various sizes.+/- 2mm in some cases. Sapwood and knots in various sizes and amounts. this is all natural.

 

Solid wood floors do not react well to moisture, if you leave your house unattended for a period in the cold, the floor can get damp and swelling and larger gaps will appear.

(this will not be covered by any warranty. a moisture reading will be taken upon call out)

 

Your floor will also experience gaps between the planks due to natural expansion and slight shrinkage during the lifetime of your real wood product. All these features together add an individual character and unique appearance to your floor."
